Pete PedullaExecutive Director
Pete started at CTM as a volunteer in 2000. The next year he became a part-time employee. 19 years later, he's still here.
Why? Because Pete loves using video to help the Chelmsford community stay informed and connected. He also believes that freedom of expression and hyper-local media are now more important than ever.
Prior to joining CTM, Pete had a long career as an advertising copywriter in New York, Boston, Austin and San Francisco.
Tom PetersonProduction Engineer / Educational Program Manager
Tom oversees CTM's live productions. He's also responsible for keeping our broadcast and production equipment up-to-date and running smoothly.
When Tom's not in the field, he teaches TV/Media classes to the next generation of video professionals at Chelmsford High, and – along with Dan Silvia – runs the CHSTv after school program.
Tom has a BA in TV Broadcasting and a BS in Electronic Communications from Southern Illinois University. He's also a CHS alum and happy to be back in his hometown – though he's not always sure the staff is so happy about it.
Villu TariProgram Director
When's my program airing? That's the number one question Villu gets asked. But, that's the job of a Program Director. Villu schedules our cablecasts – plus, directs studio shoots, archives videos and whole lot more.
Villu was born in Estonia under the Soviet occupation and – after being labeled persona-non-grata – was expelled in 1989. He graduated from Tallinn State Conservatory majoring in theatre and film acting. He worked on stage and films professionally until his "departure" from Estonia. After legally emigrating to the U.S. as a political refugee, he went from working at Wendy's to becoming an international broacaster at the Voice of America.
Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus is his favorite bedtime story.
Dianne Sherratt-SteimelNews Director
Dianne's the newest member of the CTM family. She came to CTM in 2015 after working in the commercial news business featuring stints at WABG, HMTV 6 and News 12 NJ – as well as a brief stint at HC Media in Haverhill.
In addition helping volunteers and community producers, Dianne produces and hosts CTM NewsBreak, our bi-weekly news brief. She runs the Parker School TV Club. She also creates independent short documentaries in the public interest.
Dianne is big fan of the equestrian world – she rode show jumpers and taught riding before making her way into video.
Dan SilviaTechnical Producer
Our youngest and best-looking employee, Dan makes sure CTM is making a difference in the community. That means he works with volunteers, interfaces with other access stations, and of course, directs, edits, shoots and performs all aspects of modern video production. Dan is also the co-advisor of CHSTv, the high school's after school program which teaches kids the in's and out's of TV production.
Dan has a degree in technical theatre from Fitchburg State College and is a CHS alum. He's also been volunteering with CTM since he was in the 5th grade, when he was a student at Parker Elementary School (before it became the middle school.)
Dan's well-versed in television and software engineering. Which means he spends a lot of time fixing and upgrading our equipment.
